Drive into the highlands from Kandy and discover Sri Lanka at its most dramatic: a land of gurgling mountain streams and steep hillsides cloaked in luminous green tea, sweet-scented Cyprus and Eucalyptus trees. Nuwara Eliya, nestled at the foot of a mountain, was made into a summer retreat by the British in the early 1800s and much of its colonial character still remains. Dickoya, Bandarawela, Haputale and Ella are all quaint hill country towns and villages where life is peaceful and unhurried. Those who have travelled this uphill journey by train will confirm that it is one of the most enchanting train journeys in the world.
01 DAY – AIRPORT / NEGOMBO ( This day depend on your arrival if early arrival we go to Habarana )

02 DAY - NEGOMBO / HABARANA
After breakfast leave for Habarana (04 hrs drive) through lush tropical country side en route visit Pinnawala elephant orphnange (01 hrs spend) this orphanage is situated in Rambukkana northwest of the town in Kegalla. It was established 1975 by the Sri Lanka wildlife department, this 24 acres large elephant orphanage is a also breeding for elephants the first elephant baby was born in 1984 and it has the greatest herd of elephants in captivity in the world, Between 1975 and 2012, 67 animals were born here check into hotel at Habarana lunch at hotel and refresh at hotel afternoon Elephant ride in Habarana (01 – 01 ½ hrs spend) Thereafter proceed to Hotel afternoon Jeep safari in Minneriya National Park the 8890 hectares of MINNERIYA NATIONAL PARK is an ideal eco tourism location in Sri Lanka. 03 DAY - HABARANA / SIGIRIYA / POLONNARUWA / HABARANA
After breakfast leave for Sigiriya (30min drive) climb Sigiriya rock fortress The Lion Rock Citadel, Sigiriya was the Royal Citadel of King Kasayapa who ruled in The 05 th Century A.D. 04 DAY - HABARANA / DAMBULLA / KANDY

05 DAY - KANDY / NUWARA ELIYA
After breakfast proceed to Peradeniya botanical Garden (01 – 02 hrs spend) were originally conceived in 1371 as the queens pleasure garden, later becoming the residence of a Kandyan king the 60 hector park was were converted into a botanical garden with extensive well kept lawns, pavilions an orchid house with an outstanding collection, an Octagon conservatory fernery bank of bamboo and numerous flower bed with cannas, croton and colorful bougainvilleas. Day 6 Ella / Yala National Park.
After breakfast, descend from cool hills to the jungles Yala. En route visit Rawana Waterfalls, a sight to behold with a scenic backdrop of mountains and valleys. It is featured in the Rawana mythology, where Sita is said to have bathed from this waterfall while she was in captivity,
On arrival in Yala, check in at the hotel. In the afternoon commence a jeep safari in the Yala National Park by private jeep accompanied by a tracker. Yala National park one of Sri Lanka's premier eco tourist Destinations and is renowned for its variety of wildlife notably its many elephants. It is also home to the spotted deer, sambar, wild buffalo, sloth bear, jackal, mongoose and crocodiles. The peacock is easily the most famous of the birds in this park. Yala has a high concentration of Leopards although seeing these nocturnal carnivores still requires some luck.
