About this place
Saadian Tombs are a visited destination in Marrakech and even though they exist since the 16th century they were unknown up until early 20th century. After their discovery in 1917 they were restored and open to public. They are beautifully decorated and there are about sixty tombs where noble people of the Saadi Dynasty were buried.
The most known and most visited room is of course the one that is decorated the best and in which is located the tomb of the Sultan´s son. This room has twelve columns and other monuments made out of Italian marble stone.
