In China there are 36 West Lake, but we people mentioned "West Lake" usually refers to the Hangzhou West Lake.

There are ten famous Scenes Spots of West Lake we call it "西湖十景", which are:

The Flying Peak is located in the foot hill of the Lingyin mountain with more than 470 stone statues were carved from Five Dynasties ,the Northren Song Dynasty ,theSouthern Song Dynasty ,the Yuan Dynasty,the Ming Dynasty,with more than ten different caves .Such as: the Yuru Cave :  collection of 18 arhats,the six Zen sagas were carved in the Northren Song Dynastty; Lengquan Brook: the Maitreya Buddha with a Sack.It's a classic work of the Southren Song grotto art and the largest one among others.

 It's built in Northern Song Danasty 977AD,i like this pagoda so much not only it's has more than a thousand years histry but also it's folk legend -white snake BaiSuzhen!

Willows park has good views especially in the spring or fall,for usual day walks or night soft music enjoys,you would wake up the deepen meaning of living there, never imagined this heavenly city without the lake,just shork break or innocent beginnings for your whole trip around lake...

柳浪闻莺(orioles singing in the willows）

柳浪闻莺是西湖十景之五，位于西湖东南岸，清波门处的大型公园。分友谊、闻莺、聚景、南园四个景区。柳丛衬托着紫楠、雪松、广玉兰、梅花等异木名花。南宋时，这里是京城最大的御花园，称聚景园。当时园内有会芳殿和三堂、九亭，以及柳浪桥和学士桥。清代恢复柳浪闻莺旧景。有柳洲之名。其间黄莺飞舞，竞相啼鸣，故有“柳浪闻莺”之称。
